Q2: 后一句的so代表什么意思呀？

Q1: Like后面确实可以跟名词用于comparison, 但是逗号后的句子不应该有so.
如果用like, 正确的句子应该是:

Like ancient Egyptian architectural materials that were recycled in the construction of ancient Greek Alexandria, ancient Greek materials from the construction of that city were reused in subsequent centuries by Roman, Muslim, and modern builders.

Q2: Just as X, (so) Y. 用于comparison的固定搭配, so也是可以省略的.

X和Y需要在结构和逻辑上对等

Eg1. Just as Darwin‘s ideas “dethroned” humans from their supposed unique place among biological entities, so Freud‘s ideas subordinated the conscious subject to much more powerful forces of the Unconscious.

Eg2. Just as the Sun is the center of eight planets and numerous smaller satellites, so Jupiter holds in orbit four large moons and dozens of smaller moons, forming a “solar system in miniature.”

恩恩懂了懂了 like后不能有so！感觉SC里很多题目是like+n+定从，但是基本上都不选（摊手
还有一个小小的疑问是在曼哈顿中这个结构的例句是so后面倒装了的所以后面这个句子可倒装也可不倒嘛？还是因为这个例句中有too呢？
Eg: Just as..., so too are they late today.

个人理解：

如果是so的话，so后面可倒装也可不倒装。

但是如果是so too，so too后面则需要倒装。

4. 用于so, nor, neither, 开头的句子,表示重复前句的部分内容; 原句的谓语应于前句谓语的时态,形式相一致.
I like music ;so does my sister.
I don’t like music; neither/nor does my sister.
而so too一般都是重复所以要倒转但so开头的句子不一定是重复的（像题目答案一样）所以没有倒装~

个人觉得，这里用like把so去掉也不可以，逻辑意思不对，句子结构上也不平行

我觉得三楼的改正方法是对的，like作比较时不需要句子结构的平行，需要相比较的物的平行
但是like用在这里不如as合适，因为as比较侧重同一性， like侧重不同类之间的比较，这里都是ancient materials,所以用as要好一些有哪里不对NN们一定告诉我
