Teaching Assistant at CEIBS, a LeadingBusiness School in Shanghai (full-time)

Background:

We are currently recruiting a Teaching Assistantin the area of Organizational Behavior and Leadership (full-time). The positionis at China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), one of the leading businessschools in Asia (www.ceibs.edu). The candidatewill work with Prof. Sebastian Schuh to support the development andadministration of new courses to students at MBA and Executive Levels.

Job tasks include but are not limited tothe following:
1. Course design: Assist with developing new courses and teaching materials – e.g., onthe topics of Effective Organizational Behavior, Leadership,Decision Making, Managerial Psychology:

a. Reviewing the relevantliterature

b. Finding / developing relevantexercises

c. Support with writing new casestudies

d. Preparing lectureslides.

2. Course administration: Preparing course materials and coordinating logistics; support with grading.

3. Course delivery (optional): Depending on the skills / interests of the candidate, it may be possible toinvolve him / her in short parts of the class-room teaching.

Job Requirements:

1. Master degree or PhD with focus on psychology, management, and / or education

2. Keen interest / experience in management education

3. Previous experience in a managerial,training, or HR position

4. Excellent skills in Microsoft Word,PowerPoint, and Excel

5. Proficient in English and Chinese – reading,speaking, and writing.

6. Able to commit for at least 1 year.
