正确答案是B。查了一下Usher用法，明白为什么排除ABC。

问题是high pressure builds是个什么用法？Build 如果当动词用，后面也没说build了什么，直接就接了个从句？？

那個是倒裝的，which...是在修飾主語「a broad area of high pressure」。可以嘗試還原，句子會變成嚴重的頭重腳輕，S與V分隔太遠打斷閱讀。所以才把which從句掉到後面，把句子資訊S+V聚攏。

可以參考曼哈頓的flipping it章節，裡面有講到這種倒裝。

查了一下词典build有逐渐增强，变大的意思：if pressure, speed , sound, or excitement builds, it gradully becomes greater，这种意思下build后面可以不接宾语，相当于build up

这个解释一下就明白了，感谢！
另外的问题，D选项中的“，with...and +句子”这样的结构，这个with从语法上来说还是修饰前面的主句吗？
我怀疑with这样的用法是不是就是错的呢？

还原了之后就是gusty westerly winds will continue to usher a seasonably cool air mass into the region while builds a broad area of high pressure, which will bring fair and dry weather for several days；那while从句省略了主语的情况下，主语应该是主句的主语，也就是winds，那为什么用builds单数形式呢？
