OG-171. In 1527 King Henry VIII sought to have his marriage to Queen Catherine annulled so as to marry Anne Boleyn.


(A) so as to marry


(B) and so could be married to


(C) to be married to


(D) so that he could marry


(E) in order that he would marry


D我认为没错，但是不知道为什么A错了，


OG解释：A does not specify who is to marry Anne.但我认为主语就是King Henry VIII，so as to 前后主语一致，那么就是King Henry VIII  is to marry Anne.


不知道我的想法有什么不对，请NN指点

其他选项我都可以排除，不过不明白in a mere是什么意思？

171. so as to 前面还有 Queen Catherine, 也有可能是 so as to 的逻辑主语。


176.mere  adj.

1.但是两个动作都是一个人发出的不是吗？如果说so as to本身就是代表同一主语发出的动作，那么还会产生歧义吗？谢谢


2.也就是说in a mere three percent这里mere是adj.修饰a three percent咯？

1，查历史帖，以前看过对这题的彻底分析。


2，mere是形容词，此处修饰后面的名词percent。作者想强调“那么多基因里面只有这么一小部分包含真正有用的信息。” mere也可以不用管它。作文中如果能用上mere会增色不少。


常见的是merely，导致出现mere反而不习惯。
