我选A。

Rock samples taken from the remains of an asteroid about twice the size of the 6-mile-wide asteroid eradicated the dinosaurs has been dated to be 3.47 billion years old and thus is evidence of the earliest known asteroid impact on earth .

把SAMPLES看成一个整体(因来源于同一个ASTEROID)，所以用HAS.

这道题在语法区有讨论过，集中在c和e上，主要是date的用法。我倾向于选e

我记得date at 是一个固定用法，但是一下子找不到例子了。

对于date的用法，实在很困惑。。偶在GOOGLE上查到下面两个例子，感觉不出be dated to be和be dated at有啥区别，还请高手指点。。

关键是在选项既有date at 又有date to be的情况下，是否有先后？想到了distinguish A from B和distinguish between A and B好像讨论到现在也没有定论哈？

E肯定不对, which, found in ......, was dated........结构不清楚,无法解释,

found.....修饰不明, C是最好答案.

我同意这个观点，date at并不是一个固定搭配，而是这里测出来的就是一个时间点，所以必须用at。

整句话的意思是在强调这些样本的年龄是最大的，是最早的导致恐龙灭绝的一颗，所以不应该用at, 而应该用to be, 也就是说强调的不是某一点。

我现在不太明白最后的evidence的用法了，可以主语是复数，而evidence用做一个集合名词吗？

GWD上课是这么解释这个题的：

date to be是不好的，因为date to本来就是追溯到，加be就多余了。

所以date at好。不是看固定搭配的。

选E。

总觉得这道题怪怪的，如果是dated at XXX years ago, 还好理解，不过有了这个old，感觉应该用dated to be。虽然GWD那道题也是old。大家好好想一下，dated to be XXX years old，这里XXX years old并非像大家所说的是一个点。理解一下，应该是表明这个东东 is XXX years old。总是有种不爽的感觉。唉！大家再想想。

希望不过时。应该是E。dated 本身有动作成分表时间点，to 后加be 成为不定式结构，使得动作进一步延续，不太合英语语言习惯。一般dated to/dated at＋具体时间。
