(A) If overall sales for Company X were sharply reduced, the New Hampshire Division’s new sales record is irrelevant to the company’s prosperity.

(B) Since the division is competing against its own record, the comparison of its sales record with that of other divisions is irrelevant.

(C) If this is the first year that the New Hampshire Division has been last in sales among Company X’s divisions, the new record is not surprising at all.

选b没有疑问，但有点不清楚e为什么错了，很模糊地把它排除了。是不是这个答案与题干的重心不对呀。

"smallest potenial market" and "lowest sales" are all subjects to "since"

it's a natural human logic, you don't have to memorize all those rules, follow your own sense, it's enough

may be i have someting wrong with this kind of type, since i always wrong in this type,i must keep it in mind through some rules.

题目是问flaw in the logical coherence,亦即要找出surprising与since后面内容的逻辑不一致性。

只有B道出了这个东东，说明了这个surprising是不合逻辑的，因为this Hampshire Division 只是在和它以前的销售数据作比较，与它的销量是不是最小，销售区域是不是最小都没有直接的逻辑关系.

potential market 越小,说明销售量越小就很正常啊
我觉得正好说明了sales 是和 potential market的大小匹配的 ``
因为你潜在市场大卖出去的当然会多一点
`庸俗和找抽一点来说就是用sales/potential market 配比一下,发现这个部门卖的最不错
也很make sense 啊````
虽然我觉得B也很对```
