求大神赐教：

- B. is so reflective that little of the polar ice melts during the summer; were it to do so,

- D.reflective, so that little of the polar ice melts during the summer, or
- E.reflects so that little of the polar ice melts during the summer; if it did
- 正确答案是B，lz做的时候最后在BC徘徊来着，最后错选了C……
- 但是啊！！！当时排除B的原因是——；后句意好像不对啊？
- 难道全句句意不应该是“南极洲接收辐射最多，但是气温太冷，冰盖反射，很少有冰融化；否则的话，海平面将升高250feet，淹没绝大多数城市”？
- were it to do so ＝if it were to do so，如果这样的话。。。 do so不应该是'little of the ice melts'吗？
- 那句意就变成了，如果很少有冰融化的话，海平面升高250？？？？？逻辑不对啊……

从语法角度, is so reflective 是唯一正确的说法。
关于后文，也不知。感觉otherwise也可以。

C其实是有歧义的，如果 or 理解为 或者，就变成了 so reflective that little polar ice melts or the water levels of the oceans would rise两件事情，显然不对
B的 it 应该指代 polar ice，另外之所以用 little of 是为了避免 little 有 小 这个含义的歧义

C选项 的 or else 当作 短语“否则”理解是否就不存在歧义了呢？
B选项 如果were it to do so＝ If the polar ice were to do so (melt), 而不是If little of the polar ice were to do so (melt)了。就容易理解了。
可是B选项的 it指代是“完全指代”吧，不应该包含限定词little of 吗？
感觉还是有点晕，求赐教，再次感谢

个人认为如果一个词出现两种理解且从翻译角度都说的通时就可能存在歧义
后半部分其实也感觉有点问题，在gmatclub上也有人质疑是不是少了not。但是ACDE相对错的还是比较明显，这里就暂时接受一下B
