B. direct contact with it by way ofX it 指代不清

我已经b明白了不选ABCE的原因但是想知道direct和directly修饰的区别 D选项一上来就排除了因为觉得可以用directly修饰contact动词

看了很多解析，说是不符合逻辑意思，不太明白。请教 direct和directly的具体用法啊。形容词在什么情况下修饰动词会更好呢？

这里的谓语动词是have吧？
如果用副词directly，那么一定是修饰的句子的谓语动词，也就是修饰了Have 有 “直接有”不如“有直接的联系”逻辑意思更优吧

这里contact是名词。have direct contact with..与..有直接接触。
如果你用directly, contact是动词，那么have后面是完成时，应该是have directly contacted with...?
