我想问的是D选项，不是说it 不能指代所有格里面的内容吗，为什么D是对的。这个it 指代的Earth.正确答案是d选项，请不要跟我说别的选项怎么怎么不对。我就是纠结为什么it 可以指代所有格里面的东西

我好像想通了。就是是Earth's crust 整个包裹了星球而不是地球包裹了。不好意思打扰打加了。

我的理解：
it 不指代所有格的意思应该是不能只指代处在所有格位子的名词crust; it 是完全指代，这里指代的是 Earth's crust, 逻辑上是对的。
