标题: PhD in (quant) Marketing 疑问求解答！
大家好，我正在申请2018 fall入学，目前较偏好empirical modelling，准备proposal时遇到以下问题：

closed-form modelling较容易理解，毕竟跟研究生一年级程度的applied econometrics有很大相似度；但structural modelling的文章读起来困难相当大，感觉知识背景亟待补充。。。一个做analytical的教授建议我看看Kenneth Train的discrete choice methods with simulation，还请有相关背景的朋友评价一下这个建议。。。谢谢！
