所以在这里看到expected就理想当然的选择了 D选项翻译成 (在过去)他们预期未来盗版的伴随着高速网络的发展将变得更加普及找遍了论坛也没有找到这道题的讨论

所以这道题应该怎么理解呢求助

这里的关键点是在考as 引导的原因状语的修饰，很显然功能上应该修饰一个动作。

那么从语义上应该是—— 因为高速网络的发展，所以他们期待这个增加，所以E很说的通呀

但是D里面as 从句修饰了the increase，注意这是个名词结构

当然，如果你要理解为as从句修饰前面的expect，从语法角度也是可以的，但是语义就不对了

可能DE翻译成完整的中文你会觉得没什么区别，但是你需要用英文的思路去理解

首先这是个因果关系，是因为网络发达，所以增长；而不是因为网络发达，所以期待

其次，expect sth. （貌似有这个用法，虽然我印象里好想没怎么碰到过），但是expect to 的用法肯定比这个好
