这一题选择A，我之前选择的是c，ron说明了c项目里面的平行结构不对。

C选项 distantly related 和 closely resembled 并不平行。主要是因为related是分词作定语，resembled是动词的过去形式。无法是平行结构。

这里好奇的想请教一下关于D选项，为什么D选项不行。也读的通，大体意思感觉也没改变。但是gmatL上解释是过分改变了句子意思。D选项搞不懂错在哪里？怎么改变的？

D的话，修饰比较混乱，拆开来看：
1）a distant relative of TR 是同位语，修饰恐龙“Maj atopus”，但是句子中恐龙在 “bearing..." 的后面，距离太远了。以至于按照目前的句型来说，它变成修饰主语 ”bones” 了，不make sense
2）bearing ....，作为典型的“COMMA + V-ING” 修饰主句主语，但是它跟主语之间还隔着一个modifier呢，再一次距离太远，另外，主句是 bones have been discovered，这个modifier 修饰主句，还是意思不对。
3）a meat-eating dianosaur，与“a distant relative of TR" 一样，位置错了，导致意思不对

无论哪种modifier都是，离它要修饰的词越近，意思就越清晰。

感谢！最受用的是这句~~“无论哪种modifier都是，离它要修饰的词越近，意思就越清晰。”

D项： bearing a close resemblance相像是一个动物Majungatholus atopus；汉语都是逻辑不合理awkward
E项：一个近亲动物...骨头..（骨头修饰动物，应该近似动物去修饰动物）
