在做的时候对than后直接加时间状语从句很疑惑，所以就把ABE末尾是than的都排除了，选了D（忽视了单复数的问题）
现在已经知道其他选项为什么错，可是还是无法理解than后直接加when从句，查阅了一下午资料，翻到一个曾经Ron对这种比较的解释，反而更不懂为什么可以跟when从句了
再此po出那位同学的问题和Ron的解释
按照Ron的说法，直接跟when的话忽视了时态的变化，所以为什么没用“five times greater than it had when the use....”呢？！？！！
相当困惑了！

我觉得应该是因为主谓一致，所以就省略了，原句是its numbers are now five times greater than (the numbers were) when the use of DDT was sharply restricted in the early 1970s. 作者: 爱笑的兔子姑娘 时间: 2017-11-1 22:23
