recover evidence 就是發現了xx证据，from which是定语从句的引导词，定从修饰evidence。
Scientists studying skeletons unearthed near Rome recovered DNA evidence （from which they were able to deduce xxx.）
其实from可以放到整个定语从句后面来看,写完整就是：they were able to deduce xxx from the evidence.作者: xsq805 时间: 2017-11-3 17:23
prep + which 是有这样的用法的，比如，题中的from which, in which, of which, 等等
这样的用法可能有，也可能没有逗号，其区别是“限定性修饰”和“非限定性修饰”的差别。就是说，如果修饰的内容是必要信息就没有逗号，而如果只是额外的说明就有逗号。
