我个人的浅见是，B和D的By studying the fruit fly部分如果要符合语义，那么后面要紧跟一个谁study的主语才正确。所以B、D直接排除。

我觉得还是你昨天问的关于插入语的问题。逗号中间的修饰语修饰了前面的名词。修饰study位置太远。

所以说A OF B结构，修饰的是B吗，还是A,B都可以，只要语义符合就可以？

語意上修飾最接近的不會有歧義，而是本該如此。
萬一語意上嘗試要修飾較遠的，才會有歧義。
