标题: 求问ron讲座关于which modifier的一道题
In the past several years, astronomers have detected more than 80 massive planets, most of
them as large or larger than Jupiter, Which circle other stars.
A: most of them as large or larger than Jupiter, which circle
B: most of them as large or larger than Jupiter and circling
C: most of them at least as large as Jupiter, circling (Correct)
D: mostly at least as large as Jupiter, which circle
E: mostly as large or larger than Jupiter, circling

1、我知道了A中的which不能指代80planets了，ron说它是指代Jupiter所以这里用复数不对
想问A中的which可不可以是指代most of them？如果不可以，为什么？

comma which 指代 comma 前的名词，在少数情况下可以跳跃过介词短语指代介词短语之前的名词。

A 中 which 指代Jupiter 所以RON说后面的circle 是复数是不对的。

是的，我懂RON的意思，就是which不能跳过most of them as large or larger than Jupiter这个modifier去修饰planets
我的问题是which可不可以修饰most of them啊？

或者说如果这句话是In the past several years, astronomers have detected more than 80 massive planets, most of them in blahblah， Which circle other stars.
那么这个which怎么去判断修饰的是planets 还是 most of them呢？
