标题: 请教关于OG10-19一道比较题
OG10-19. In addition to having more protein than wheat does, the protein in rice is higher quality than that in wheat, with more of the amino acids essential to the human diet.
(A) the protein in rice is higher quality than that in
(B) rice has protein of higher quality than that in
(C) the protein in rice is higher in quality than it is in
(D) rice protein is higher in quality than it is in
(E) rice has a protein higher in quality than

这道题的答案是B。我看A选项时，是通过is higher quality少了of来排除的，我想请教的是：如果A选项补成 the protein in rice is of higher quality than that in ,可不可以选呢？（我觉得这样后面的that就是指代protein,两个protein比较，有什么不妥吗？）

请诸位指点，谢谢~~~

首先不要去尝试改写正确答案，写正确句子比从选项中选正确的要难的多，也没有必要。

In addition to having, 主语必须是rice, 不能protein，所以只有B，E选项的主语是正确的。

恍然大悟！做题的时候一直想着 in addition to 和后面不需要对等，于是就没在意逻辑主语

那prep08破解里说的“不需要对等”应该怎么理解更好呢？

不客气，不过我不太清楚你说的是什么意思。

我建议还是从句意出发，前面的modifier clearly限定了修饰的对象是Rice，因为Protein cannot have more protein. 这和前面是In addition to 还是别的什么prep都没有关系不是吗。

嗯嗯你说的有道理，最近看太多语法总结，反而让一些条框局限了自己的判断。
