标题: 求问so...as...和as...as...的用法

问个弱弱的问题，是不是一般so...as...是用在not so...as...这种否定里的，而表肯定的时候是用as...as...?

e.g. OG16-786. 正确选项：Jupiter not only is three times as massive as Saturn, but also possesses....
这里的as massive as..如果换成so...as...就错了吧？

在gmat裡面即使前面有否定字眼not, 也不會把as...as改為 so...as

就是not so much... as...在gmat里是错的？？还是not so... as.. 和not as... as...都对？

應該說not so...as對 not as...as是相對錯誤選項
並不是絕對錯誤
ＯＧ這題依照句意也是應該要用as...as 而不是so...as

gmat正確句子裡還是有not so..as的句型
不過他們的相對選項裡面都沒有not as...as

附上我所說的範例：
According to one expert, the cause of genetic irregularities in many breeds of dog is not so much that dogs are being bred for looks or to meet other narrow criteria as that the breeds have relatively few founding members.

(A) the cause of genetic irregularities in many breeds of dog is not so much that dogs are being bred for looks or to meet other narrow criteria

只能说，这不是一个直接/绝对的选项排除点，还需要通过其他更直接更确定的split点来确定正确选项。

嗯嗯，同意我举例的那题通过句意应该是as...as...，我又看了一眼其实那句中as massive as...的那部分表示的是肯定，不是否定

谢谢你的例子～～我看完发现正确选项都是在表示否定的时候用so...as...的，不知有没有见过在gmat里表示否定的时候，用as...as...的例子呢？

嗯嗯～楼上举的例子里错误选项都有其它更明显的错误
