刚刚做GMAT prep，这道IR中有一句话不是很理解，请教大神帮我指点一下呀，下面是完整题目：Advice from a computer security expert, on passwords used for accessing online accounts:

Advice from a computer security expert, on passwords used for accessing online accounts:

Computer users should use a different password for each online account. They should also use strong passwords, which are hard for hackers to decipher. However, strong passwords are difficult to remember, and this is especially the case for users who have multiple online accounts.

Fortunately, software is available for little or no cost that can store and encrypt a user's passwords: the user need only remember one password to access the rest. For users willing to take the time to install the software on a computer and enter all the required data, such software provides one way to comply with security expert's advice. Some versions of the software can even be copied to a portable device, such as a USB drive, whereby a user can access passwords from any compatible computer.

For a computer user with multiple accounts who would not otherwise use a different strong password on every account, the expert's advice amounts to suggesting that users make certain sacrifices in order to make certain gains. Indicate by appropriate selections in the first and second column which of the items in the third column would describe a sacrifice for this user and which would be a gain. Make only two selections, one in each column.

最后一段的For a computer user with multiple accounts who would not otherwise use a different strong password on every account具体是什么意思呢，would not 我理解的是对于那些有很多账户但又不愿意对每个账号使用不同密码的用户，，，但是根据答案可以推断出应该是那些多个账户同时设置多个不同密码的人，，，，，大家是怎么理解这句话或者这个题目的呢？

这道题答案应该是sacrifice security for time吧。那就是说牺牲了安全性，用来省时间，对应原文For users willing to take the time to install the software on a computer and enter all the required data, 就是说和花了时间来增加安全性的人正好相反，所以你的第一个理解没错啊

sorry 发帖的时候忘记把答案放上去了，对，答案是sacrifice time to gain security。
又仔细地读了一遍最后一段的第一句话，重视到了otherwise的用法，所以这句话的意思是说对于那些如果没有这个software就不会对不同账户设置不同密码的用户，他们使用了这个软件，sacrifice了什么，gain了什么，，，你看是这样理解嘛

First, the OA of this question is "sacrifice time for security". The key of this problem is how to understand "For a computer user with multiple accounts who would not otherwise use a different strong password on every account"
According to the passage, people have two ways of using password. One is to remember different strong password and another is use software to remember different passwords. So "a computer user with multiple accounts who would not otherwise use a different strong password" means the second kind of person, who use software to remember. So the answer is "sacrifice time for security".Hope it can help.
