independent from 有independent of  这个词组吗？用法是怎样的？
a seek support from b means  b support a
a seek support of b means  a support b
第一个词组好理解，但第二个词组怎么理解阿？谁能给我个例句？

1.independent of
We need a central bank that is independent of the government.
Robert aimed to be independent of his parents by the time he was twenty.

2.support of
He had the full support of the general committee.
Thompson has won the support of half the party.
The organisers are hoping to drum up support (=get many people's approval) from local businesses.

from :从。。。所以，a 寻求B的支持
of: ...的，所以，a 寻求对b的支持。
不知道对不对。我这么理解的。
