这道题我想请教的是D和E的逗号后面的部分：brightening the Northern Lights and
it possibly knocked为什么是错的，论坛上和外国论坛上都直接说这是不平行没有展开讲，但是我认为这句是平行的啊？

a large storm in the magnetic field that surrounds Earth brightened the Northern Lights和it（指代storm）possibly knocked out a communications satellite.为什么不是平行的呢？and前后按理来说可以连接两个完整的句子呀

是Brightening，不是brightened，你写的句子和原句是完全不同的两个句子吧。

Brightening是modifier, it knocked 是从句，不是平行的结构。

啊我写错了，是D的后半部分，是brightened和knocked

brightened and knocked，平行。
brightened and it knocked, 如果按你说的it 指代storm，这里it需要省略。其实这里it的指代也有问题。

By the way, 这里正确的主语应该是magnetic field，而不是storm。

同样的主语并列的话后面肯定不用再出现了。

I go to the meeting and discuss with the attendees.

Emmy went to the party, and she quite enjoyed it. 这样应该也是可以的，但是第一要有comma，第二这样可能也有点awkward，你就记的前面一种就好了。

回到这题里，其实C选项很明显是平行且表意准确。对比之下其实很容易看出D和E的问题。所以比较不同选项才是最有效率的方式，单独去判断每个选项肯定要难的多了。

是的，ron也不止一次说过better choice而不是best choice，我总是钻语法的牛角尖。

c选项里面，为什么可以用surrounds呢？不需要用过去式吗？
