随便翻开几个second tier的学校，托福平均都在630-640之间。比如这个ohio, mean toefl score 638。
top20的就更加了得了。比如这个排名16的ANDERSON, mean toefl score竟然是650！Austin也是640！

As I know, in paper-based Toefl a score of 600 with every section above 60 will satisfy those picky admissions officers; And that means that in CBT a score of 250 will be Okay. Of course, as for any score the higher the better. Good luck.作者: ivylee 时间: 2003-8-31 13:38
确实和学校有关。但主要和经济有关。经济好了，大家工作。被FIRE了，只有读书，当然分数就扶摇直上了。hehe
