who perfectly...引导的是 someone的定语从句。 the kind of life they...是对 a good life 的解释说明。破折号有解释说明的含义

However, most people (subject) would judge (verb) someone - who perfectly embodied the (describe someone) ideals of any one of these theories (embody 的对象） not to be living a good life - the kind of life (describe good life) they would want for themselves and their children.

所以答案就是most people have a conception of a good life that not match that of any theory, because they judge who live that life not to be living a good life.
