Afte reading the answers above, here is a comprimise of the three before and my own answer.

7-However, some consumers may resent being told what to believe and some may distrust the message. Resentment and distrust often lead to counterargumentation and to boomerang effects where consumers come to believe conclusions diametrically opposed to conclusions endorsed in advertising claims. suspision = distrust. A is incorrect because "diametricaly oppose" is an effect of distrust, not because exposed to forceful claims.

16-E is Correct. B is not. Cost is porportionally to Revenue will not cost doubt. i.e. You company used to sell $10 of goods that cost $1 to make. That is 90% profit. Now you can sell $100 of goods that cost $10 to make. Still 90% profit. Which would you like? E will reduce the number of generator needed, thus casting doubt.
