标题: 求解GWD17 一道语法
Sound can travel through water for enormous distances, prevented from dissipating its acoustic energy as a result of boundaries in the ocean created by water layers of different temperatures and densities.

B. prevented from having its acoustic energy dissipated by
C. its acoustic energy prevented from dissipating by
D. its acoustic energy prevented from being dissipated as a result of

想问下C和E在表达上有什么区别？

C: , N +分詞(被動ed)
E: , 分詞(主動Ving)

用文意來判斷如果是E的話他的邏輯主詞是前面的sound 但聲音無法主動避免消散藉由....
C 的意思是聲音的能量被避免消散藉由...

1. 這題我一開始直接殺A,B, 因為句尾Ved分詞抓到的邏輯主語是distances 距離阻擋有點奇怪刪AB 剩CDE
2. CD較相像 (1)看出被動 by>as a result of (2) being dissipated 冗贅刪掉D 剩CE
3. 這題還是要了解獨立主格結構不然會誤以為 its ~ energy為distances的同位語誤刪

如果看得出來是獨立主格結構只是糾結句意看到by可以想說有兩種可能1.表被動 2.採行手段
看到＿後面接N (boundaries) 它會是
(E) 手段嗎？句意：聲音(主語) 透過海洋裡～～的邊界來阻擋聲能消散有點奇怪吧
(C) 如果是被動句意：聲能是被海洋裡～～的邊界所阻擋消散

C比較合理吧所以選C

我第一次做也选的E，因为觉得未划线部分的前半句话已经是一句完整的句子了，所以后面修饰主句。
现在虽然知道了是逻辑主语的问题，但是我还是觉得E不算没有谓语。
有木有大牛鉴定一下？
