标题: 求助一道SC的题， both和each的区别
The contractor and the engineer agree on the cause of the bridge failure, but both blame the other.
A. both blame the other B. each blames the other C. each blame the other person D. both are blaming the other E. each blames one another
答案：B

我做的时候在A和B之间纠结了好久，感觉both blame和each blames都没毛病，麻烦大家解释一下为什么应该选B 啊？

这俩是没问题，问题出在后面，应该是each blames the other 或者 both blame one another。one another是“互相”的意思。

one another不应该是用在三个之间的吗？both是两个，可以用one another吗？还是缩这是一个神奇的固定搭配？

实际运用中其实两者是可以互换的，不像之前高中老师严格规定的“两者之间一定要用each other，三者或三者以上一定要用other another”了。

举个栗子，We respect each other (one another). 我们互相尊重 (对方)。

each other 可折开用 (each…the other)，但没见过both... the other的，both one another倒是见过

A- Blame the other means-- both engineer and contractor are blaming someone else
B-correct
C-Blame plural verb S-V disagreement (each takes singular verb)
D-same as A both engineer and contractor are blaming someone else
E-one another is used when there are more than two people involved

Reciprocal pronoun like Each-other is used when there are 2 people involved and
when there are more than 2 people involved pronoun one-another is used
