标题: MBA TOUR 要准备什么？
今天连续收到了两个学校的MBA tour邀请，基本上是决定要去的。

请问，需要准备什么？resume吗？（除了想问的问题之外）

还有不清楚是不是要门票，有参加过的人讲一下吗？

注：要参加LA的，有同去的吗

You probably need to register the tour in the tour web site.  But you can also do so the day you get there.

I do not know specificly what to prepare.  I am planning to attend
one in northeast.  But I think a resume and a list of questions is
a must have.  Nobody says that though.

How did you get the invitation from the school? I found out
the tour info by myself on the internet. Have you submitted your
application?

I have not submit my application. I don't know why these two school insistantly send me information.

有些学校可以安排TOUR上面或者前后两天的面试的。

I remember seeing a lot of applicants' posts saying that they got an
interview in the tour.  But all these stories happened only in
China. Non applicants in US, at least I have never seen, said that they
had an interview in MBA Tour in US.  I even asked the admission
officers at the schools that I am planning to apply for an interview at
the fair, all of them, without exception, replied that they did not
offer interview at request.  Why is this?  Should I submit my
application package first?

I think it depends the school style.

One school told me that they can schedule an interview if I like on the tour

估计就是搬运工的工作.学校发发宣传手册。现场回答问题，而且我估计所谓回答问题也不会有太大价值，因为一般都说自己学校如何如何好。

去现场有个好处，就是可以问牛校一些它们宣传资料上看不到的东东，比如：它们的大陆中国学生的录取及就业情况如何？

很可能TOUR上就是一次面试了。

传说，很多美国本土的学生在VISIT学校时会有面试，以面试结果来决定是否继续收这个学生的APPLICATION，不知是真是假？

当然，偶们没机会去TOUR/VISIT，就只有等着被召唤了。

这个不会的，呵呵，几百人中记住一个人不是一件容易的事情。而且，这种场合只是你问他们。

这也是我的担心啊，口语不好。不过zeroes一说我就胆子大多了

也许口语一时还不能太溜，但如果积极主动找招生办人说话，这种良好的印象或许也能加分呢。呵

只要你注册了就会收到很多学校的邀请，偶每天早上都能收到一堆。全都是广告邮件，别当真。

Tour的那几天能安排面试倒是真的，我已经拿到4个面试了，不敢再多要了。

我听一些在美加的朋友说，外国人比较看重的是你能不能在他们心中留下印象，他们也理解英文不是母语的学生口语表达不是特别好，但是只要你说的东西他们有兴趣他们就愿意听，而不管你是不是口语流利，所以还是建议大家去参加一下吧，混个脸熟也好。

能ON CAMPUS面试当然是很好，因为可以很明确的BOAST你对学校的喜欢和兴趣。

但是并非决定因素的。

我也感觉口语一般，不过还是决定去看看。虽然才看到这个消息不知道是否来得及。这么巧在上海，而且明天晚上刚好有时间，就算当当搬运工也好呀，先对MBA有个感性认识。再说，说不定可遇到CD上了NN们，也是一件快事呀
