标题: 一战 680 二战750，在职人士2个月备战策咯
Hi all, I am Veyron, like to share with you some overall opinion in short point.

My background

CET6 594 in 2008; Toefl 101 in2009
MBA degree from Hong KongBaptist University in 2011 (Distinction award)
Managing a largest Data Centerconstruction project in HK as Project Manager during the whole GMAT process
- Manage to get half Friday offevery week for study
- Daily around 2 hour max forstudy
- Start preparation from 10 Sep2016;
  - 1st war on 14 Oct2016 for 680
  - 2nd war on 11 Nov2016 for 750
GMAT (750, 98 percentile| Q50, 87 percentile | V41, 94 percentile)
- Notice that my score isactually boosted up by the Verbal

Overallstrategy

Read around 50 experience sharingpost from Chase Dream buddies and get a feeling of what you shall pay attentionas a break-in point.
Spend time only on items thatcount
- Focus your resource onQUANTITATIVE and VERBAL
- I personally only spend lessthan 4 hour on the AWA just to build 1 framework
- NO time given for IR
Find out your strength and weaknessfrom the free mock up test when you bookGMAT
- Strong point---less trainingbut keep it great
- Weak point---strengthen it withmore focus training and may consider skip it during the test for desperate situation. (Usually Chinese are strong at Quantitativebut weak at Verbal; Me too)

Elaborationon each part

AWA
- I personally believe this isnot important and pay minimum attention
  - Mind that my AWA only got 5 in1st war
- Spend just a few hours (I spent4 hour) to build one fix framework for every AWA
  - Opening + link words for 3parts of the reasoning from the AWA argument
  - Attack words for 1streasoning
  - Attack words for 2ndreasoning
  - Attack words for 3rdreasoning
  - Ending
- My framework already occupies160 words so it shall be adequate to finish the rest to add 250 words in therest of 25 minutes (I usually spend around 5 mins to type that 160 words in thebeginning----quite slow)
IR
- I pay absolute no attention andno practice
Quantitative
- Strong suggestion to directlyuse JJ as your practice material if your Quantitative foundation still remain80% level of your high school period
  - DO read and practise all the JJbefore the exam
  - I have 20+ mins remain whenfinished this section. Recommend to just sit and relax for this 20 mins toregain your stamina for Verbal part
Verbal (I did quite a lot of practice in this sectionas it is my weakness)
- CR
  - The PowerScore only helps a bitto me with those 300+ page to read
  - DO read all the JJ before theexam
- RC
  - DO read all the JJ before theexam
- SC
  - RON’s print screen is GREAT;his video…….I did not have enough patient to listen to even one of them
  - PREP 07 & 08---good stuffto give you some guiding technic (but I only have time to finish the 08 andaround 5 page of 07)
  - Manhattan SC----I don’t feelthis teaches me any great idea but strangely my SC actually improve to a newlevel after I finish reading this
  - During the exam the SC is veryhard for me that I could only use instinct to make final decision (I believe itis in a different score pool)
  - Use one of your hand to signalthe decision for choice A to E (Palm down; retract corresponding finger whenthat choice is ruled out)
  - Also use your leg to signalSingular or Plural (Crossed leg for Singular, 2 feet on the ground for Plural)
  - I feel the GWD practice is notthat in-line with the exam;

Others

As the exam takes 3hours and 30minutesto finish, you need to boost up and save your stamina
- I take a 4km run on everyWednesday and Sunday night at 11:00pm
  - It can also release the stressin your head especially when you have studied for quite long time just sittingthere
JJ DOES play important role inmy score for Quantitative, CR and RC
- JJ can help add back the lossof brain power when you are stressed during the exam
- Mind that it did interfere myway of reading the RC, you will have pre-conception which might be wrong if youdon’t have good JJ or understand it wrong
Bring a SHORT coat with you tokeep you warm during the exam, it is 25 Celsius but you do feel cold when youare stressed (LONG coat is not allowed in the exam)
And bring some food for rechargeduring break
I have not purchase anymaterial and have not read OG---nothing to boast about. Just want to mentionthere’re a lot of paths to reach your destination.
