In an effort to increase profits,the company moved itself from emphasizing its chemicals business to expandinto high-growth pharmaceuticals and futuristic biotechnologies.

(A) itself from emphasizing itschemicals business to expand

(B) itself from emphasizing itschemicals business then to expanding

(C) from an emphasis on itschemicals business and to expanding

(D) from an emphasis on itschemicals business and to expand

(E) from emphasizing its chemicalsbusiness to expanding

在我看来，itself是需要的因此选了B。我觉得公司努力增加利润，那应该是公司自己move自己到一个新的方向，感觉语义上有了itself更优。希望大神么解释下谢谢

itself可有可无吧，但是B里面的from……then to 应该没这个用法

同意2楼观点，这句主要是考查move from V+ing to V+ing，中间不能再加then。对于itself，我也是认为可以省略。
