但是我想问，这个句子的结构正确吗？
“, and”后面应该加一个完整的句子吧，而这里是more slowly through hotter rocks。
大家认为结构是不是也有问题呢？

我理解的是and并列的应该是对traveling的两个描述，是平行的
traveling most rapidly through cold, dense regions and more slowly through hotter rocks
这个comma+v-ing的结构作为补充修饰前面的句子

实际上and不一定要并列完整的句子，只要并列的成分平行就可以的

然后B选项which是就近指代，修饰interior显然不合逻辑~ 不知道对不对，求轻拍

谢谢！！但是前面想问的是“逗号+and”哦（估计我没表述清楚）。记得曼哈顿里面说过，逗号+and都得加上完整句子~

呀，来晚了~回去翻了一下曼哈顿，“，+and”应该是在第三章讲FANBOYS的时候说到的吧？他想表达的是逗号+这些连词可以并列两个单独的句子，并不是所有连词并列的都必须是两个独立句！

像however、although、therefore这种后面才是必须接完整句子的
