标题: 求助！！！noun modifier vs adverbial modifier [打印本页]

标题: 求助！！！noun modifier vs adverbial modifier
我在看manhattan sc 第六版

在讲modifier的时候书上有个例子：

exhausted from her job, she bought a lottery ticket with hopes of winning big

毫无疑问exhausted...job是adverbial modifier，修饰why she bought the ticket

同理： exhilarated by the successful product launch, the team celebrated after work

exhilarated..lanuch也是adverbial modifier，修饰why did the team celebrate （书上原话）

但是我在网上看到了个例子，好像是以前书上版本的例子，却说以下是noun modifier：

Tired from chasing mice, the cat took a nap

为什么tired..mice这个是noun modifier而不是adverbial modifier？？难道不是在修饰why the cat took a nap?

我现在很困惑。。。哪位大神能解释一下感激不尽！！！！
