这题E中的determined 是省略了前面的have吧？另外 C到底错在哪了呢？

对，个人觉得E中determined前是省略了have。C的错误在于引入了when，when 表示同时发生或者前句导致后句，但是原文并没有表现出这种时间关系，也没有因果关系。不是因为运用了某某技术，科学家才检验了，而是科学家运用某种技术检验了。

C错在动词之间的逻辑关系了科学家检查牙齿这件事并不能够determined 而是说他检查了牙齿并得出了结论检查牙齿和得出结果是同等重要地语言地位吧 C不符合正常人做事情的行为逻辑
