B 选项的 55 percent more delay 为什么不clear?

DELAY:可数名词:延误的时间;不可数名词:延误,耽搁。本题“55 percent more delay”或者“55 percent more delays”都有两种意思:1、多了55%的航班延误了;2、飞机延误的时间增加了55%。所以A,B都是unclear的答案。可数名词表示具体delay的时间,而不可数就类似与抽象概念。此题已经提到了“55%”,那么肯定是具体概念,应该取delay。
此外,状语中leading和prompting平行,应选E。

我看了你的解释,去查了牛津高阶字典,里面确实说delay的名词分两种形式。
1、可数名词,用法:commuters will face long delays on the roads.
2、不可数名字,the acting of delay.用法:there is no time for delay.
感觉这两种都是在强调时间的延误,所以其实你回答中的两种情况,实际上都是时间的延误。
我不知道我的理解对不对。

楼楼,这道题用平行可以排除掉ACD。
B:55 percent more delay
E:55 percent increase in delay
曼哈顿里说,百分数的变化应用increase/decrease,不是more less。所以直接选E。
我是这样想的,也不知道说的对不对。
