(B) Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than fungi,

(D) Plants, more efficient than fungi at acquiring carbon,

(E) Plants acquire carbon more efficiently than fungi,

答案是C 但是A选项中的Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than fungi are,改成are fungi有什么区别

比如曼哈顿上I like cheese more than Yvette.

Right: I like cheese more than Yvette DOES.(more than Yvette likescheese)

Right: I like cheese more than I DO Yvette.(more than I like Yvette)

这个例子可以看懂，但是换成上面题目这个例子，感觉区分不出来

有大神可以讲解一下吗

并没有什么区别啊，A项的错误原因是画线外的句子in the form of 是修饰carbon dioxide的，就近原则。
