标题: GWD SC of结构修饰
曼哈顿有指出，一般而言，修饰词应该紧挨着名词，但以下情形例外：       至关重要的修饰词在中间，如of短语。

eg He had a way of dodging oppoents that impressed the scouts  (right)
   His way of dodging oppoents impressed the scouts (right)
   He had a way that impressed that scouts of dodging opponents (wrong)

为什么在GWD这道题里，the construction of 可以分开? 如A选项那样，因为我就是靠着这个结构不能分开最后确定了B，虽然时态确实有问题

因为介短放在任何名词后面都可以做定语，所以Between 1876 and 1904如果要修饰construction就必须紧跟在construction后，如果写成B选项的样子between 1876 and 1904就修饰sewer system了，逻辑意思完全不同。

那像of 结构虽然也是修饰CONSTRUCTION，排在后面也没关系？因为不会产生修饰sewer system的歧义?

of结构是of the three sewer system修饰construction的。
你说的“不会产生修饰sewer system的歧义?”指的是什么？of the three sewer system肯定不可能修饰它自己啊！
