请NN解释一下credit with something done 的意思.过几天就考了,身边没有字典,credit的用法都不是很清楚,汗. 谢谢

credit vt: credit sth with doing(相信…具有)

be credited with doing (…被相信具有/先因后果)

be credited to sth (…归因于/先果后因)

不加 for/as

n: get credit for doing

give credit to sb for doing

sb be given credit for doing

Egyptians are given credit for being the one who……
