查字典查到的，应该是最接近意思的了吧～哈哈

关键是前句里有个 later, 是他做宫廷乐家的时候被称为高祖，还是做宫廷乐家的时候创作了交响乐5号，之后被称为高祖，另外这个while后面省的也够多的

哦哦对我没有看清楚～～最好是他这个地方的"court musician"打引号就最好了。
那while 的解释就比较正常啦～～恩，我记得高中的时候最常见的就是这个用法，并列或者叫对比关系啊，father of the Symphony对应court musician,for his contribution to classical music 对应 the Esterhazy family。
所以，while就是一个连词了啦～～
