标题: Manhattan verb中 V+ing 前后分句时态以及时间点的问题 [打印本页] 作者: joannahope 时间: 2016-6-9 23:58 标题: Manhattan verb中 V+ing 前后分句时态以及时间点的问题 在gmat的“－ing modifiers: Follow the Main Verb”这个部分中，第一句话是 The country's economy is unstable, the result of a stock market crash occuring ten years ago.
第二句话是这样的The country's economy is unstable, the result of a stock market crash that occured ten years ago.
其中manhattan 的解释给的有点奇怪。
我奇怪的点分为以下部分：
Mahattan 中的解释为“ ，＋Ving” 形式中，前后句的时间点要一致的，而第一句话中第二句中的主语为economy，前面的时间为一般现在时，后面出现了ten years ago，就是不对的了;
第二句话中，因为that 将第二句中occur的主语变成crash，语义上是说的没有问题，Manhattan说为正确的句子。可是 第二个句子中的后半部分不是一个句子，又不能说是一个短语，这样放着，如果是句子的话没有连词，短语的话也不能这样使用吧，求解答疑问？
