In the past several years, astronomers have detected more than 80massive planets, most of them as large or larger than Jupiter, which circle other stars.

B. most of them as large or larger than Jupiter and circling

C. most of them at least as large as Jupiter, [url=]circling[/url]

D. mostly at least as large as Jupiter, which circle

E. mostly as large or larger than Jupiter, circling

C是对的，但circling的subject不是应该是subject of the preceeding clause吗，那不是应该是astronomers吗，为什么可以形容planets呢？大神，求解。。。

我觉得是指them

就题目而言，并没有comma+ing作为状语从句或者定语从句的歧义，因为astronomers不可能circling，可以确定是定语从句。

这里我觉得应该是most of them at least as large as Jupiter独立主格作为插入语
隔开了planets和circling 所以其实去掉插入语是没有两个逗号的
就是astronomers have detected more than 80massive planets circling other stars.
v－ing后置定修饰planets
