错选了D. 了解suggest doing.. 更符合语意：design suggest laying out ... （这个行为）, 而不是suggest layout
ranging， 富于变化的。 range，范围。
(B) suggest laying out corporate brochures and annual reports, it has come to signify a wide range of 长的不要更丑了！！

同意，it has come to这个结构确实在SC中很少见。
不过D中的主谓一致单复数错了，这是必错的语法点，不是吗
排除法是王道！

我觉得关键还是语义，D选项改变了意思。原句说"虽然Term往往被理解成laying out年报“重点是这个动作，而D选项却说”虽然Term往往被理解成年报的layout“ 不make sense.

B 很好呀。很好地表现了这个词虽然意味着什么，但已经开始意味着新的东西，突出了一种趋势。

这就是问题所在了，may have done... 情态动词后面跟原型，并没有错啊，为什么OG会说have和term单复数不一致。

不丑啊，it has come to signify 和 it has signify意思不一样的。前者表达了一个变化，后者则少了这层意思。
