请问各路大牛这题为什么不选E？觉得ozone和react搭配也没问题啊

E：谓语出了问题。
句子结构：（Often visible as smog）（修饰成分）, ozone （主语）, （formed in the atmosphere from hydrocarbons and nitrogen oxides）（修饰成分）, （two major pollutants emitted by automobiles）（修饰成分）, react （谓语）with sunlight (介词宾语）.

先不说句子意思上的问题，Ozone是单数，react要加s，就这一点就错了。
意思上，Ozone不是要去和太阳光起作用的。要起作用的应该是氧氮化合物和碳氢化合物。
