VO: Your undergraduate's UVa?
ME: Yea..
VO: What's your conferred degree?
ME: BA. Bachelor of Art in Economics.
VO: Do you work now?
ME: Yea I have a full-time in China now.
VO: So does your study in UVa help you out in your work?
ME: Ugh... Yea (什么鬼问题)
VO: Are you going back to visit your friends?
ME: Yes. I have several friends from underclass.
VO: How long will you stay? Like 2 or 3 weeks?
ME: 3 weeks or 4 weeks. Yes. From... ugh mid April to... mid May or early May.
VO: So you gonna spend most of the time in Virginia?
ME: I may spend a week in NY coz I have some friends working there. But, yea, for most of time i will be in Virginia.
VO: You booked tickets already?
ME: Yea I have the departure ticket. I am gonna book the return ticket. （话多。。）
VO: Mmm... If you don't have your return ticket booked already, it may be an issue to enter America. (卧槽？！) Because customs will think you may stay over the legal period of time, which is 6 months, they can turn you back immediately.
ME: Gotcha.. So what you suggests is that i have may return ticket ready before I enter the America?
VO: Yes.
ME: Then customs have the information, or data, about if I have purchased the return ticket? (我怎么会问出这种鬼问题。。)
VO: Yea. (她竟然回答了。。。)
ME: OK. I will make sure to book the return ticket before the entrance.... (她中间一直在填资料 看着快填完了 我想着差不多可以撤了吧 结果。。。)
VO: Well... Why didn't you book the round-trip?
ME: It is a round-trip. The departure ticket is the returning ticket from China to US of a roundtrip... ugh it is the second half of a roundtrip. The first half from US to China was last year.
VO: Hah? (她一脸懵比的看着我。。其实我说的话我自己想想都听不明白)
ME: Hmm. The case is like this... I booked a roundtrip ticket last year after I graduated from college. The first half of the roundtrip is from DC to China. The second half of the round-trip is from China to DC. This is the departure ticket next month. So I only have the departure ticket, not return ticket.
VO: Ohhh.. I see.. (然后她拿起了张蓝色的票 真的太不容易了！！) Here is the ticket for you. Use it to pick up your passport later. And make sure to book your return ticket before you enter US.
