标题: gmat新手上路，有题不会
manhattan sc 6th 中遇到问题，请前辈们指教一二。
错句：”The consultant is looking for a café where there are comfortable chairs and that provides free internet access. ”
可以改成The consultant is looking for a café where there are comfortable chairs and free internet access. 这样的句型吗？

还是只能如答案显示：The consultant is looking for a café [THAT has comfortable chairs THAT provides free internet access].

为什么？cafe不能用where做状语从句吗？

你写的句子The consultant is looking for a café where there are comfortable chairs and free internet access是对的吧.

答案的句子省去了there be句型比你的更preferable.

SC的很多正确选项不仅是在语法上没有错误的, 在逻辑上也是最简洁清晰的, 而且更多的会偏向逻辑的正确性. 五个选项中总有一个是比其他的明显更好地, 所以单纯的来讨论一个句子那样写对不对是没有太大意义的.

我也是新手, 才在备考, 说的不一定对. 你参考咯.

楼主，GMAT不是一个探寻正确选项长什么样的考试，而是在五个选项中去掉四个错误的。因为正确选项的长相可能性太多了。by 黄daxian
