16. When an airplane is taken out of service for maintenance, it is often repaintedas well, and during the repainting no other maintenance work can be done onthe plane. In order to reduce maintanence time, airline officials areconsidering using a new nontoxic plastic film instead of paint. The film takesjust as long to apply as paint does, but many other maintenance tasks can becarried out at the same time.

答案是B但是我在纠结E。 E不是已经说明了film的速度更快吗？为什么不选E呢。而B的话remove和reduce maintainence time有什么关系？
