It depends on the means you will choose to send your transcripts to the schools. If you use the regular mail service, it will take several weeks for your stuff to arrive at the schools. If you select some press services like UPS, or DHL (http://www.dhl.com), it takes a few days (2 or 3 working days).

It took exactly 10 days for a "Gua Hao" letter by China Postal from Shanghai to arrive in San Francisco.
