OG13-SC104. Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations, carefully corrdinating them with her narratives, capitalized on her keen observation and love of natural world.

E. Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations, carefully coordinated them with her narratives and

The correct answer is C. And OG explains about E : the participial phrase does not clearly modify book illustrations; the relationships among the parts of the sentence are unclear.

Why is E wrong? I think the participial phrase carefully coordinated...with... modifies Beatrix Potter , exactly expressing the idea " Potter did the coordinating" and also paralleling to verb capitalized.

please correct me. thanks

逻辑意思不同：

在GWD杀了人的房间里，GWD在喝水
vs
GWD在房间里杀了人并且喝水

这两句话表达了两个不同的逻辑意思。
第一句：杀人和喝水不是同时进行的
第二句：杀人和喝水是同时进行的。

此题中，是一个道理。

PS：请问一下在考场上未必反应如大牛这般迅速，请问这类改变原意的选项，有没有什么共性？是不是改状语变谓语是一个比较大的改动，所以多数情况下都是违背了本意？

你要是想把GMAT考题做对，要做的第一件事就是远离新东方！

新东方首先发明了“原句”真么一个说法。你用脑子想想，如果A是“原句”，那不是每道题都选A？凭什么说A是原句？我如果在OG里找到一个句子重心和A选项完全不一样的正确答案，为什么跟“原句”不一样还是正确的？

什么“主动优于被动“，”原句时态不要轻易改变“，这都是根据正确答案逆推的所谓”理论“，都是错误的。

SC没有“本意”这么一说，只有相对比较好的选项。比如：
ABCD主谓都不一致，E选项是这样的：
Being nice to students, Mr Fucker is respected by students who are female.
这个选项有没有错误？Being多余不？students who are female冗余不？你难道不选E？
选那个错误少的

首先补全题目：

(A) Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations, carefully coordinating them with her narratives,
(B) In her book illustrations, carefully coordinating them with her narratives, Beatrix Potter
(C) In her book illustrations, which she carefully coordinated with her narratives, Beatrix Potter
(D) Carefully coordinated with her narratives, Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations
(E) Beatrix Potter, in her book illustrations, carefully coordinated them with her narratives and

你看in her book illustrations,就是个插入语，大胆删除发现them不知道在说什么。也就是所谓的unclear
注意如果in her book在开头，那就不是插入语，比如说BC，但是B是个夹心修饰，也造成unclear，所以B错。

正确选项的修饰关系是对的，
错误选项的修饰关系是错的或者unclear的，这就是共性。

你不用记什么状语谓语的，其实就是改变修饰关系。，修饰关系变了就是改变本意

明白，看到：

但是这两句话的说话方式在这道题里都说的通啊。我们用语意杀掉了E，但是E的语意除了与C不同，并没有错啊？

**coordinated可以修饰illustrations。
**删除插入语in her book...,them不知道在说谁
