标题: 大家如何把钱带出国或支付学费？

有几种方法。

电汇：贵

票汇：便宜，稍慢，但如果是美元现钞，则需加收钞汇差价

旅行支票;贵，有些银行只是美元

信用卡：visa加收1.5%的手续费

好像那种方法都有问题。你们看呢?

我直接带现金.带身上.过关的时候别说带那么多就行了.

另外提示一下，在境外直接划卡支付而不是提现金支付的话，是没有手续费的。

汇票到了英国取现，还有手续费吗？

比如中国银行办理的汇票去LONDON当地的HSBC取现？

there should be no charges. I recommend you to go to HSBC Shanghai so that it will be very convenient when you come to London to deposit the DD. It only took 3 days for my HSBC DD to be credited to my HSBC London bank account without charges. If you deposit more than USD50K in HSBC, you can become a HP customer, i.e. a lot of special benefit, incl open a current account with HSBC London directly in Shanghai.

Kevin, many thanks for the info!

Per phone call to HSBC customer hotline, HSBC Shanghai doesn't accept China Mainland residents only with RMB and it just serve HK/TW/MC Chinese.

I am wondering if HSBC Shanghai is able to open an account for me after I have pounds that are bought via Bank of China. But not sure if the process is complicated than I take the draft directly to HSBC London or Bank of China London branch. Do you have idea of it? Anyway, I am calling HSBC customer line again

foreign banks can only do FCY business with local individuals. Of course the bank will accept your GBP notes. HSBC is just close to school and is more convenient than you go to China town BOC branch. You can go to their branches directly. Call centres staff in all banks don't know their banks well

我听说你带现金多的话，过海关安检的时候钱上的金属条是会被查出来的，所以如果要带非常多的现金要谨慎哦

two HSBC branches in walking distance from LBS and there is even a HSBC ATM in the school
