本人G700,T96（口语比较渣）, 本科国内TOP10，GPA估计82左右，本科学的是法律，毕业后在外企从事与地产、管理相关工作8年。

I need a LOT more info from you - school name, employer name, titles, promotions, greatest achievements, volunteer work, sports, community service, religious involvement, leadership.. etc. before I can give you a real evaluation.

It will also be very helpful if you can elaborate upon your goals.

Well I’d love to get even MORE detail from you so I can really dig in. But let’s say that given what you provided here, I’d estimate that the schools in the 20-40 ranking would be about your “sweet spot”. It’s a rough evaluation of course, but a good start.

I find that it is late for the R2 for the Rice University, University of Rochester, and Boston University. Do you think it is possible to apply for the R3?

I select Rice, UR-simon, UCSD,BU,NEU, UF, and Uncc to apply.

Hi Kelly,
Round three can be VERY touch. Especially for International applicants. I usually recommend people to NOT apply R3, unless they have some very good reason for applying in R3. Keep in mind that 90-95% of the places are already filled by R3 and it is MUCH harder to get accepted than round 1. So unless you have a great reason to push R3, I’d suggest planning an application for R1 next year.

Graduated from university of science and technology Beijing with a 3.5 gpa and major was English literature. after graduation, i came to Africa and am working here since 2012. gamt 720;toefl 111;ielts 7.5. not only was workin in both west and east Africa but both state-owned companies and start-up. was participating some of volunteering job for kids here. so whats your opinion?

1. Where you CAN get into
2. What your goals are
3. Where you WANT to go
4. Fit

美国的学校看中国本科还是认北大清华复旦交大吧，其实清华复旦交大能认识的也不错了，没有必要过分追求本科哪里读的吧，干卷还是G,T, LOR， essay 和 story
