烦请各位同学提问前仔细阅读官网和爬楼，有关basic info的问题恕不回复。
又到申请季，很多小伙伴询问bocconi的信息。本来私下逐一解答。但鉴于太多人都反映info少，楼主希望把自己了解的情况跟大家共享，回报论坛。

1. 概况
Bocconi is one of the top business schools in Europe.
蜚声欧洲，在国内却默默无闻。

Graduate School与SDA Bocconi的区别：前者program无需工作经验，后者program需要工作经验（主要为MBA，其中奢侈品管理算是领域内最TOP的项目之一）
2. 就业
[hide=d999999999]中国学生分布于各个专业，每个专业的可采样本不是很多。
(1) 目前大家比较熟悉的finance是london投行的target，就业相当给力。已知前辈基本就职于London、Milan & HK。以下榜单针对金融专业毕业生。

(2) International management是咨询业的输出大户，但中国学生较少，目前已知的毕业生基本都在欧洲。如果想留欧，CEMS MiM (bocconi是founding members之一)的double degree是一块金字招牌，助力良多。

(3) 其他专业各有所长，可以根据兴趣选择。

总体来说，bocconi在欧洲的就业平台已经足够高（reputation非常好&intern非常多），虽然语言是中国学生就业的障碍，但想留欧是有机会的。就业实习机会见以下链接：

3. SDA Boccconi
SDA Bocconi是学校的王牌与骄傲，主要面向有较丰富工作经验人士开设MBA、EMBA等项目（找土豪抱大腿求包养的快来）。MBA不用多说，商学院主打项目，全球rank 25，对中国学生有专门的奖学金，GMAT是主要评奖指标。想进入奢侈品行业，MBA的luxury track是上选，和ESSEC都号称自己全球第一（偷笑）。根据Eduniversal给出的排名，SDA管理学院的MPA（公共管理）、MFB（餐饮企业管理）、MAFED（时尚、体验与设计管理）、MAMA（艺术管理）、MIHMEP（国际医疗保健管理）都是各自领域的榜霸，总结起来仿佛公开吃喝玩乐养眼养生硕士项目（搞笑哈哈），充分彰显国家优势与特色。还有个称霸体坛的FIFA sponsor项目Int’l Master in Management,Law and Humanities of Sport，博科尼是承办院校之一。球迷体育迷们请自行感受。SDA可谓庭（cang）院（long）深（wo）深（hu），全（ren）是（sheng）套（ying）路（jia）。

4. 学术
Bocconi的ESS（经济学）master是去往欧洲和北美top school phd不错的跳板。
学校本身phd的placement也还不错，中国毕业生都在985高校任职。

5. 为何选择bocconi
[hide=d1000000000000000000](1) 由于意大利经济形势低迷，b校本身极少在亚洲宣传，作为欧洲top商学院实力被低估（不过近年申请人越来越多），趁着学校火之前不妨一试；
(2) 学校提供丰厚的奖学金及助学金，妈妈再也不用担心我的学费啦

(3) intern的机会炒鸡多，来招聘的公司也很好（各种顶级投行咨询及世界500强），还有不错的double degree及exchange。[/hide]
6. 其他
当然也有不足，比如在国内没有任何名气，所以想一毕业就凭借学校牌子回国就业的需谨慎，个人以为可以在欧洲先工作实习一段时间再考虑是否回国，这样比较有竞争力。
再比如不够international，班上七八成都是意大利人。
7.奖助学金提示
[hide=d999999999]bocconi奖学金分为merit based, int'l student scholarship和need based。前两种无需申请，学校根据申请人背景发放。need based要同时跟admission一起申请。还有一个ISU助学金炒鸡给力（免学费+免费午餐+半价住宿+€4000补助），这个来到学校以后申请，但是公证材料在出国之前就可以开始准备了。[/hide]
SDA Bocconi奖学金GMAT很重要，最高可以免学费。

哈哈，这么巧。supervisor读的是DDIM，属于Interntional management专业中的一个选择。中国学生只能通过考研或保研复旦进入这个项目，竞争激烈，不过都是有奖学金的。

毕业后还可以续一年的意呆利签证。其他欧洲国家也不会一毕业就要回国（英国除外）。

thx。“三围”不错啊，还是很有希望的。至于会不会因为工作时间大于2年影响录取不得而知。工科背景b校应该是偏爱的，毕竟msf非常quant。希望成为校友。

0. In terms of the comparison between bocconi and CMU, I have no comment coz I'm not a MSF student. Bocconi's MSF is said to be rather quantitative and I, however, don't think it's as quant as certain programs like fianancial engineering and financial economics only taking a quick look at their courses. Anyway, thx 4 ur info always learning sth. while reading ur comment.
2. According to MSFers, it is way easier for European people to get into London IB. Even in this case, not a few Chinese stand the chance of seeking jobs in London considering the record. Still, fight is a must.
4. The most significant reason that explains why I chose bocconi is that it boasts higher ROI compared to its peers (coz of the low tuition, and tons of scholarships and assistantships).
5. can't agree more. Problems occur during the group work that sometimes people simply speak Italian leaving u alone.
Additional info:
Bocconi is no doubt renowned for finance and lots of Chinese students love finance. But applicants should not focus all their attention on finance. Here I'd like to add the Internatioanl Management-CEMS double degree is also worth a try if you wanna get into consulting or you haven't decided ur future career coz this program could offer a broader carrer path.
More importantly, CEMS is more than famous in Europe and it can offer more and better oppoturnities esp. in EU.

Yup. A comprehensive sum-up. CEMS is a great brand. Bocconi only allows students of Interntaional Management to enter into the CEMS program while some other member schools all the majors.
Within CEMS, top members could be LSE, HEC, Bocconi, ESADE, HKUST and Ivey.

Speaking of getting jobs, there is no difference between mgmt students and other majors if awaded with the CEMS degree. But as for me, accepting students from all kinds of majors will keep this alliance diversified. Meanwhile, students in this way can have access to knowledge of the specific areas acquiring necessary professonal skills to help them pursue their long-term career goals in the particular sectors they would like to. Actually, the mere acceptance of mgmt students make many schools' CEMS degree less attractive according to certain applicants.

Maybe CEMS wants too much to compete with MBA degrees in the US. They superficially consider MBA as a general mangement program but ignore MBA candidates coming from different sectors. In this case, they forget most of their incoming students with only pure academic backgrounds. However, they should have realized diversification counts when it comes to pushing their grads to different sectors. This is quite a balance of bg control between inflows and outflows of students.

楼主，想问一下申请的时候有一个statement of personal details，这个是不是就是英国类似的personal statement？还有motivational letter是描述你为何选择这个项目的原因以及职业规划对吧？那我觉得motivational letter的东西会不会在ps里面重复过了呢？之前没有申请除英国外其他欧洲学校的经验，求解答！谢谢！
