Ah, this is a question I get all the time, so I'm more than happy to answer it for you. The truth is, the degree doesn't matter much when it comes to who gets a job in the US and who doesn't. There are plenty of MSF and MSA grads that get jobs and stay here! And plenty of MBA grads who do not.
It all comes down to the job itself, and the companies you apply to after graduation. It is up to those companies to decide if they are willing to sponsor an International applicant. So if you want to stay in the US, the best thing you can do is target companies that are known to sponsor International applicants. Typically, it is larger companies that do so, since the process is very expensive. (Big banks, consulting firms, tech companies, etc.) Now, it is not easy to get sponsored - there is a LOT of competition - but if you focus on recruiting from the moment you start bschool, and you work hard to make connections with companies so they can see your value, you'll increase your chances of making it happen.
